Our RRC will aim to get in touch:

  • ( If car's roadworthy) in 1 working day
  • (If not roadworthy) in 2 working hours

The RRC may inspect your vehicle before it goes in for repairs, so they can start ordering parts. This may be done using images or viewing the vehicle in person.

The RRC will arrange collection of your vehicle and bring it on site for repairs. If they're supplying a courtesy car, they'll aim to get it to you within 8 working hours of your vehicle being on site.

To get updates in your repairs, you should contact the RRC directly if possible. They'll let you know their estimated completion dates and keep you inforned of their progress.

Once repairs are complete, the RRC will arrange delivery of your vehicle and take their courtesy car back. If your excess is payable, you'll pay this directly to the RRC on completion. You'll have a lifetime workmanship warranty on your vehcle repairs.

We'll ask you for the details of your chosen repairer and send them our Notes For Guidance, so they can send us their estimates.

You'll organise an estimate with your chosen NRRC, who'll send it on to our in-house engineers for review, which can take up to 5 working days. We may also have to organise a physical inspection before repairs can be authorised.

You'll need to arrange with your NRRC how the vehicle will be transported and when repairs will start. If you have hire car entitlement, it's only available when using an RRC - we won't pay for a courtesy car provided by a non-recommended repairer.

For updates, you need to contact your NRRC directly. You'll also need to arrange collection of your vehicle with them. We can't get involved in any dispute you may have with them as they're not contracted with us.

If your excess is payable, you'll pay this directly to your NRRC. Some policies carry an addtional excess payable to your NRRC. They will then invoice us for the rest of the repair costs.
